Today, Harford Community College's High Intensity Student Engagement Model (HI-STEM), an NSF-sponsored program, received the 2020 Inspiring Programs in STEM Award from INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine, the largest and oldest diversity and inclusion publication in higher education.
WHFC 91.1 FM, Harford Community College Radio, has announced a groundbreaking partnership with Maryland Public Television (MPT). Beginning the week of August 24, MPT’s award-winning public affairs programs “State Circle” and “Direct Connection,” both hosted by veteran journalist Jeff Salkin, join WHFC’s lineup, bringing listeners local, current, and relevant news and information.

In order to celebrate the accomplishments of Harford Community College’s Summer 2020 Nursing Class, a slideshow has been created to virtually recognize the nursing degree graduates’ perseverance and determination. Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students: On Friday, April 10th Harford Community College signed an agreement to receive an allotment of money from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act. On Saturday April 11th the agreement was submitted to the U.S. Department of Education. Consistent with Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act, at least 50 percent of the funds received will be given directly to students.
